Ulrika is a registered occupational therapist who is passionate about supporting individuals in achieving their functional goals in everyday activities to improve quality of life.
Working in diverse roles before completing her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Southern Cross University, Ulrika takes a holistic and collaborative approach to therapy.
During her studies, Ulrika completed clinical placements in a variety of settings including school, hospital, and community, supporting paediatric clients, young adults, and the aging population, gaining experience working with individuals across the lifespan.
Ulrika values seeing clients in their natural environments—at school, home, and in the community—to ensure therapy goals and interventions support meaningful activities as well as offer context for generalisation.
Being a mum of three teenagers provides Ulrika with invaluable insights into challenges faced by clients and their families, and she understands the importance of a compassionate, person-centred, and family-oriented approach.
In her spare time, Ulrika balances work with spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga, gardening, paddle boarding, and hiking through our local rainforests.
