Dietetics

At Easy Access Psychology, our dietitians support children, adolescents, and adults to build healthier relationships with food in a way that is respectful, realistic, and neuro-affirming. Whether you’re navigating picky eating, sensory-based food differences, medical nutrition needs, growth concerns, or eating difficulties that are impacting daily life, we work with you to create a plan that fits your goals, your routines, and your capacity.

When food feels stressful, mealtimes are a battleground, or your body isn’t getting what it needs, partnering with a compassionate dietitian can make daily life feel easier — one step at a time.

For Individuals Of All Ages, Our Dietetics Services Include

NDIS dietetics supports

Goal-based dietetics aligned with functional outcomes (e.g., independence with meals, routines, community participation, and daily living).

A collaborative, whole-person approach

Your dietitian can work closely with our psychology, speech therapy, and occupational therapy teams to provide joined-up support—especially when eating is impacted by anxiety, sensory processing, oral-motor skills, disability, or family stress. Meet Our Dietician

Thea Boland - Dietician

Thea Boland (she/her), Dietitian

Thea has a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetic Practice from Bond University and a Bachelor of Nutrition from Latrobe University. As a late diagnosed AuDHDer, Thea is passionate about providing affirming and authentic nutrition support to adults, adolescents and children. Following a non-diet, Health At Every Size approach, Thea recognises that all foods have a place in our diet, and that joy and pleasure when eating are just as important as nutritional content.

With a professional background in inpatient and outpatient hospital services, Thea brings a diverse skillset for supporting chronic conditions, gastrointestinal concerns, eating disorders, and support with nutritional intake while balancing sensory needs. With a non-judgmental take on food, Thea will work with every individual to find an approach to their dietary goals that are right for them.

When not talking about food, Thea can be found swimming at the beach with her two labradors, building lego with her children, or enjoying a cuppa on the verandah with a piece of chocolate.
